The catalog is what the agent uses in conversations: names, prices, sizes, ingredients, photos, and links to original posts. You can build it from five sources, and they work together seamlessly: your website provides prices, Instagram offers photos and lively descriptions, and YouTube gives details you explain verbally.

All sources connect in one place: “Settings” → “Catalog Sources”. The same is available from the cabinet's main page, via the “Catalog from” tiles.

## How It Works

The mechanics are the same for all social networks. The service retrieves a list of recent posts, downloads captions and media, feeds them to the model, and receives structured cards. Gemini also listens to videos: it transcribes speech, reads on-screen text, and remembers stated prices.

The cards are then added to the catalog. Re-analysis does not create duplicates: posts are identified by their ID, and old cards are updated.

Two parameters control the process:

- **Number of posts** — 10, 25, 50, or 100. Each number shows an estimated time: from one to twelve minutes.
- **Depth** — “Quick” reads captions and covers, “Deep” downloads videos and sends them to Gemini in full. Deep analysis costs more in terms of limits, but it's what extracts prices you mention verbally.

> [!note] Each analyzed post counts against your plan's limit. During the trial, this is 100 posts and 60 minutes of video; on “All-inclusive”, it's 2000 posts and 600 minutes per month. The remaining balance is visible on the cabinet's main page.

## Website

The simplest source if you have an online store.

1. Open “Settings” → “Catalog Sources”.
2. Enter an address like `https://shop.example` and click “Analyze”.
3. In one to five minutes, a summary will appear: how many pages were crawled, how many products found.

The crawl reads product cards, prices, availability, and characteristics, automatically detecting the store's currency and applying it to the settings. It also fills in the store name, welcome message, and preview description — you can edit these manually later.

If the site is password-protected, delivers content only via JavaScript, or blocks bots, the crawl will return few items. In such cases, it's more reliable to upload products via a CSV file in the “Catalog” section or add them manually.

## Instagram

Instagram requires a login: without authorization, the network does not provide posts. Your login and password are entered in the sources section; the password is stored encrypted and used only to read your own feed.

The process is as follows:

1. Enter your login and password, then click “Log In”.
2. If Instagram requests a code from an SMS, email, or authenticator app, a field for the code will appear immediately. Enter it within one minute.
3. After the “connected” message appears, select the number of posts and depth, then click “Analyze”.

What's extracted from a post: caption text, photos, videos, price (if mentioned), and a link to the publication. Carousels are analyzed in full, Reels as videos.

> [!warning] Instagram dislikes logins from unfamiliar IP addresses. If your account is protected by two-factor authentication and you often log in from your phone, the first login from the server might require confirmation. In the “Proxy” field, you can specify your own address, such as `http://user:pass@host:port` — this will make the login appear to come from a region familiar to your account.

You can disconnect the account using the “Disconnect” button: the password is erased, but the collected catalog remains.

## TikTok

A password is not needed here. Just the profile username — with or without an "@" symbol; `@shop` and `shop` are equivalent.

The service retrieves descriptions and the videos themselves; during deep analysis, Gemini listens to speech and reads on-screen text. TikTok is a case where depth pays off: prices and ingredients are more often spoken aloud than written in the description.

Speed depends on video length. Fifty short videos take six to eight minutes; fifty long reviews can take half an hour.

## YouTube

Enter a link to the channel or @handle. All forms work: `youtube.com/@channel`, `youtube.com/c/name`, or simply `@channel`.

Gemini reads videos directly from the link — we do not download videos to our server or access your account. Therefore, the question "will we get banned?" is moot: from YouTube's perspective, it looks like a regular view.

Limitations to be aware of:

- Videos longer than 45 minutes are skipped: analyzing such a video costs more than the benefit it provides. In the report, they appear in the “skipped” line.
- A single analysis run operates for no longer than three hours, then stops automatically. The remaining older content can be processed with the “Continue older” button.
- Private and age-restricted videos are unavailable.

YouTube is excellent for services and complex products: a half-hour review usually covers everything customers later ask about.

## Telegram channel

A public channel is required: `@channel` or `t.me/channel`. Private channels and groups are not read.

Text, photos, and videos are extracted from posts; speech and on-screen text from videos. Telegram is convenient because details like sizes, ingredients, and terms are often written out there. Such posts are converted into cards with almost no loss.

## Re-analysis and “Continue older”

The “Analyze” button always starts with the most recent publications. Once new posts have been analyzed, a second button appears: “Continue older”.

This shifts the window deeper into the feed and processes the next batch.

This is how a large archive is built: 100 recent posts today, another 100 older ones tomorrow. Plan limits are consumed gradually, and the catalog grows without duplicates.

## If the catalog is incorrect

This happens, and the cause is usually not the model, but the source posts. Check these points:

1. **Empty descriptions.** Open “Owner's Agent” and click “Catalog Quality Audit” — it will show cards without a price, without a description, and with identical names.
2. **Prices in comments.** If you write 'price in direct message', the agent honestly puts 'price on request'. It's simpler to add prices to the cards manually.
3. **Too short captions.** A single emoji and hashtags don't provide the model with enough material. A deep analysis helps: videos usually contain more information than captions.
4. **Redundant posts.** Reviews, memes, and announcements sometimes turn into cards. Delete them in “Catalog”; a re-analysis will not bring them back.

The catalog can also be edited manually: in the “Catalog” section, you can change the name, price, description, add or delete an item. The Owner's Agent does the same upon request: 'increase the price of earrings by 10%' or 'add descriptions where they are missing'.

## Frequent Questions

### Is a Gemini key needed for social media

For quick analysis, no, a Claude key is sufficient. For deep analysis, Gemini is needed: it's the one that watches videos. On the “All-Inclusive” plan, both keys are ours; you don't need to enter anything.

### Will my Instagram account be blocked

We read the feed like a regular client and do not publish anything on your behalf. Risk arises when logging in from an unfamiliar region: Instagram then requests confirmation. A proxy in the source settings resolves this.

### How many posts to analyze initially

Fifty is a reasonable start: it's three–six minutes and a sufficient catalog to see how the agent responds. One hundred posts make sense when the assortment is diverse.

### Can multiple sources be connected at once

Yes, and this is standard practice: a website for prices, Instagram for photos, YouTube for details. Cards from different sources live in one catalog, each remembering its origin.

### How often should the catalog be updated

As new posts appear. Once a week for an active account is a comfortable rhythm. Analyzing new publications takes a minute or two because older ones have already been processed.
